I was born in São Paulo and spent most of my childhood in the vicinity of Interlagos circuit, in the south of the city, hearing the noise of cars in the track.

I was born on May 23, 1972. I’m 47.

Currently I drive car #111 at Stock Car, defending the Full Time Sports team colors. Further, I’m also one the presenters of the show “Acelerados”.

Those were 19 years of many stories in Formula 1. I ran 326 Gps and won 11 times; stepped up the podium 68 times; 658 points and 14 Pole Positions

I believe so. The Rubens that today drives at Stock Car has been shaping himself for long. The final stage of my career in Formula 1, after leaving Ferrari, can be deemed a breaking point. I prefer myself now than in previous years. It’s not that I didn’t like it, but it’s priceless to know that you can manage the problem and know that’s something that will make you better in the future. This experience of being able to face a problem with a smile and liking yourself better to love what you need; staying cool, not spending energy with what you don’t need, this has undoubtedly made me a better person. It’s a natural growth, but today I feel I’m more ready and realized. My family and the Brazilian fans certainly helped me a lot too
